The cosmetic appearance of a prosthesis is an entirely personal choice and is key in terms of positive body image. At Swift Prosthetics we offer a full range of finishes to suit individual preference, from statement hydro-graphic designs to highly realistic cosmetic silicone.
High Definition Cosmetic Silicone
We provide exceptional quality high definition silicone upper and lower limb solutions, as well as to disguise scarring. We work with highly skilled silicone technicians who use their artistic talents to create incredibly lifelike silicone cosmeses. Through precise skin tone matching and the incorporation of intricate and individual skin details our high definition silicone solutions are truly bespoke.
Hydro-graphic Finishes
All our prosthetic limbs can be tailored to incorporate our clients’ creative ideas, including multiple colour options and hydro-graphic finishes from our huge number of available patterns. Swift Prosthetics is proud to be the only prosthetic clinic in the UK with an in-house design service. We use computer aided design software, and advanced 3D printing technologies, to design and manufacture prosthetic covers to seamlessly fit our clients’ prostheses.
Custom Prosthetic Finishes
As part of our range of options, we can use a unique combination of 3D printing technologies and Skinergy Plus Leg Covers to offer a cost effective, realistic prosthetic finish. A bespoke 3D printed prosthetic cover replaces the traditional hard foam calf shape, over which the Skinergy leg cover is placed. The 3D printed prosthetic cover is hygienic and hard wearing, and can be designed to be used with a wider selection of prosthetic feet than foam calf shapes.
