Delivering independent prosthetic care nationwide

Established in 2020 the Prosthetic Home Service provides the UK’s only fully mobile, home-care prosthetic service. We understand that travel to clinical appointments can be difficult or inconvenient for some and are pleased to offer our clients flexibility and choice, to fit their individual needs. Our mobile workshop is equipped to allow us to provide the same high standard of care as in our outpatient clinic.

Our Services

  • Prosthetic Component Trials

    We offer trials of microprocessor controlled knees or feet. Trials can be organised for private prosthetic limb users wanting to explore the potential benefits of these components and for existing microprocessor controlled knee or foot users looking to upgrade or change their prescription.

  • Activity Prostheses

    Our mobile clinic and workshop means that we can perform appointments on location; whether that is a running track, mountain bike course or boxing gym. This allows the set up, and optimisation, of activity prostheses in the location they are to be used.

  • 3D Printed Prosthetics

    At Swift Prosthetics we offer the only in-house 3D printed socket design service in the UK. The use of these advanced technologies allows unparalleled accuracy in the creation of comfortable, strong, lightweight sockets.

  • Cosmetic Silicone Prostheses

    High definition prostheses are custom-made for the individual and come in a range of finishes to suit all budgets. Our most popular finish is the highly detailed ‘reality finish’, this includes multi-tone skin colour matching and can incorporate fine details such as veins, hair, and freckles.

  • Water Activity Prostheses

    Water activities prostheses can facilitate participation in sports like surfing or sailing as well as offering day-to-day benefits such as being able to shower when away from home. At Swift Prosthetics we work closely with our clients to offer the best solution to meet their needs; this includes designing new prosthetic adaptions to meet specific requirements.

  • Prosthetic Limb in a Day

    Swift Prosthetics offer an exclusive “Prosthetic in a Day” service, using Ossur’s Connect® TF and Direct Socket systems. These systems allow us to create high quality prosthetic limbs in just one delivery visit. This service is available for prosthetic clients who meet certain assessment criteria following an initial consultation.
