About us and what we are up to.

Meet Dani

Dani is the driving force behind Swift Prosthetics, motivated by a belief that health and care should always be patient-centered. Recognising the challenges many people face in attending traditional clinic appointments, his vision was clear: to establish a truly unique service that delivers the highest standards of prosthetic care right to the client's home.

That commitment continues today. Swift Prosthetics proudly offers the UK’s only fully mobile prosthetic home care service, alongside appointments at our new clinic in Lancaster.

Expertise & Experience

Dani brings a wealth of experience to every fitting and consultation, having worked with people across all levels of limb loss, including the complexities of caring for multiple limb loss amputees.

  • Optimal Fit: With a keen eye for detail, Dani prides himself on ensuring the optimal fit when prescribing prosthetic sockets, which is foundational to comfort and function.

  • Advanced Technology: He has extensive training and practical experience with advanced solutions, including microprocessor-controlled knees and feet.

A focus on innovation

What Dani finds most rewarding is working with individuals to achieve the best possible outcome in respect of both quality of life and independence.

This drive for better outcomes led him to establish Exo Prosthetics. This parallel venture focuses on designing and manufacturing unique, custom-made 3D-printed exo-skeletal prostheses. By accessing design and manufacturing resources outside of typical prosthetic pathways, Dani can produce one-off, commissioned prosthetic solutions that push the boundaries of aesthetics and function for the amputee community.

What have we been up to?

Swift Prosthetics was named Runner Up in the Innovation category in the North West. HSBC/FSB Small Business Growth Awards 2026. 🏆

It was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity to meet so many impressive small businesses from across the region. After a lot of hard work behind the scenes, having that effort recognised in the innovation category is a real highlight and a proud moment for the business.

I also want to mention the Health Innovation Campus at Lancaster University, where we are based. It’s a great site to work from as we continue to develop our next generation of prosthetics.

Feeling very motivated for what’s ahead.

Double amputee snowboard development: Part 1

The AI suggested I talk about "inclusive design," but honestly? I just want to see more people on boards.
If the gear doesn't exist to get someone down the hill, you build it. Simple as that.
The goal isn't just to make it "possible"—it’s to make it fast, fun, and accessible to anyone with the guts to try.

Prosthetic socket insert design and fitting

Where design and creativity meets clinical need. We believe in doing things differently—with the end user at the center of it all.

This is how we can keep your prosthetic as comfortable as possible while we are in the process of completing a new prosthetic socket.
